Routhier Post No. 1 will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at 1230 hours, at The Montano Steak House. The meeting will be held on the second floor. U.S. AMBASSADOR TO BE SPEAKER AT THE FEBRUARY POST MEETING The Honorable James M. Derham, Ambassador of the United States will address the members of Post No. 1 at our February meeting. Due to the limited space available, this meeting will be for members and associate members of the post only. No guests or wives of members are to attend. Only members in good standing (those who have renewed their 2007 membership) will be allowed to attend. USED PAPER BACK BOOKS Many members of the post like to read and many members have used paper backs (novels and other) laying around their homes. Bring them to the post meetings so that other members of the post can read them. The other option is to donate these books to The American Legion Library in Antigua. If you want to donate books to the library, bring them to a post meeting and we will find a way of sending them to Post No. 2 in Antigua. THE AMERICAN SOCIETY GENERAL ASSEMBLY The American Society of Guatemala will hold their annual general assembly at the U.S. Ambassadors residence at 1900 hours on Thursday, February 8, 2007. Only members of the society are allowed to attend this assembly.
